Lol, I don't pay too much attention and just saw that the position was 'vacant'
Even worse than the 2nd round draw was discovering that I lost £50k in Round One due to my grim members after relegation. Damn you Wing!!

Re: Season 16 aims and aspirations
1) Get an internet connection so that I don't have to keep sneaking on at work
2) Float the boat for the rest of the season (dropping 175k/week before games )
3) Don't forget to set tactics for the 4 weeks that I'm away this season
4) Make a respectable distance in the cup considering it's default lineup only
5) Make the playoffs
6) Experience for Dedman and Hambleton with as much cup/league game time as reasonably possible
7) CSR/TSP targets - Dedman: 150k/128 Hambleton: 240k/148
8.) 3 trainable U20 potentials
9) All 2nd team players past 40k CSR, 2nd team average 65k CSR
10) Get 30* replacements for all 12 forwards in the YA

A bit late but here they are:
1) 4th in the league (win at least 7 games)
2) 2nd after playoffs (need a challenging aim!)
3) round 6 of the cup
4) Wordsworth 315k
5) Only 1 starter under 50k csr
6) 11 over 100k csr
7) Average csr over 130k (currently 114k)

1) Eventually - Virgin Media still suck though
2) Not exactly sunk, but not pretty - dropped north of 300k this season
3) Success - didn't screw any games up while I was away
4) Round 5 - good enough
5) Done - but i'll have to settle for 3rd at best
6) Not enough really - well reflected in point 7
7) (with 1 week still to train) Dedman 154k/126, Hambleton 231k/141 - even level 5s slow down after a while...
8.) 4 guys with early birthdays, 30 stars each - only this one has any real promise
9) Not quite: Lowest 38k, average 57.5k
10) 13 players with lots of stars - questionable whether the last purchase was a forward or a back though. Got some good lads in there too - keep an eye on the TM in about 3 seasons time
40% of goals achieved - decent success in most others. Good enough for now - just got to plug the hole in my bank account...

Mega man al wrote:1. Try and survive in Div lll
2. 4th Rnd in the cup
3. Enjoy the Clubs Cup
4. Darren Lynn to 260kCSR, Jeffery Gander to 80kCSR, Gareth Provost to 63kCSR
5. Break even without prize money (as I wont have any next season!)
1. Failed monumentally with only one win
2. Knocked out in round 3 so no
3. Nope entered my first friendly comp and the chap goes bot after R3!
4. Lynn close but no cigar, 254K thanks to drop in CSR gain! Gander 88k by the end of the season, Provost 69K by the end of the season so 2 out of 3 isn't bad.
5. Not going to break even, in fact not even close, was doing okay until I suffered ebay syndrome by looking for too long on the TM till I felt I had to bid on something!
So all in all, 29% success rate, if Gander makes U20's it'll make up for it but either way role on Season 17, this has been one to forget for me.

Re: Season 16 aims and aspirations
agrimsley wrote:Well, after a relatively successful season in S15, this year will be all about consolidation and building a foundation.
1. Open my stadium expansion.
2. Break even on a 2 week basis after match revenue.
3. Increase my YA capability by hiring a L3 coach and a temporary L2 manager.
4. Promote at least one decent lock to train (Bowler/Adams)
5. Scout an U20 potential ready to sell at start of S17 for a cash windfall!
6. Hope and pray for a decent division so I don't bounce straight back to Div V.
7. Keep training Edwards, hopefully up to 65k.
1. Done and proven successful with a full stadium for all home games.
2. Making a significant profit every fortnight now with plenty of money in the bank too!
3. Now have full L3 on my YA apart from the L2 manager.
4. Promoted Bowler (20k) and Adams (18k) and have been training them both since.
5. Have at least 4 potentials in the YA at 30 stars so will see how they come out next year.
6. Failed at this one. Ridiculously hard league and I finished 7th with 2 wins over the bot being my only highlights.
7. Stopped this one as I refocused my training on my front 5 with 2 locks and a prop making the surge towards 35k.
All in all, a developmental year as I knew once I had seen my league that I had no chance barring a miracle. So I changed training up to be ready for a promotion push next year and be better prepared for Div IV once I get back.

eadie wrote:1. Win Div and get promotion to Div IV after a disappointing playoff defeat this season.
2. Find a decent young prop with 20K+
3. Train, train and train. My lvl 2 training facility will be completed later today.
4. Resit the urge to buy any more players (other than a prop).
1. Won every game, currently winning comfortably in the final so Div IV next season.
2. Sucess, bought a 30k prop so all my front row are over 30k.
3. Huge gains, have a Lvl 3 training facility and now have the majority of my starting XV over £30k.
4. Failed, bought a bunch of players. Mainly all backups though.

2. No decided to concentrate on league
3. 4 players over 40k
4. Just
5. Anet, so kind of
6. Not quite still need stamina level 3
7. 36k
Pretty happy in all, definitely going to concentrate on improving backrow and centres this season not expecting to finish any higher though

Re: Season 16 aims and aspirations
There's no way in the world I would have predicted my season...
Winner of the Junior League I.1
Winner of the England National Cup
Winner of Senior League I.1
Regional / National ranking 1; World ranking 2
I thought it was going to be a battle to survive! I was helped by Badger going bot midway through the season, by Shaghai all reds moving to Hong Kong, and by IcER not having the best season by his high standards. Nonetheless, I'm chuffed!

1. Nope - 5th only...Wales11 got the better of me this season
2. Yep
3. Nope - one at 49K might just sneak it in the last week of the season, next is on 47K
4. Yep - now working on replacing them little by little with 30 stars a player.
5. Nope - and the current look of 19 yr olds on the TM makes me think I won't make much!
6. Not quite. Maybe with my Junior League prize money...might afford the upgrade over the off-season!
33.3% Oh dear....
