Monday night training league
Right folks, due to a distinct lack of community challenge type meetings on my fixture list, I propose a 5 team round robin for the remaining 4 mondays of the season.
Pretty simple really, I want to guarantee 4 matches for my little-uns and it would be nice to have some competition.5 teams, same format as the old 5 nations, but with 4 point wins and bonus points. Luck of the draw for home and away. Anyone who wants in can sign up here, just got to be done by tomorrow evening so that we can arrange the games.
Just so you have some idea of the standard of competition, I'd field a team with about an average of 50k CSR but most of them will be dead from LTNTing my league games. Expect 4-6 stars on the reporters summary.
So, who wants in?
EDIT: Massive blonde moment - A 5 team tournament needs 5 weeks to complete, we only have 4. Instead I've changed the format to 4 teams, random H/A draw, 3-1-0 with bonus points, and a playoff finals 3v4 and 1v2 for the final.
No silverware this season as I don't really have time to make it an official friendly comp, but if it works nicely I can do that for next season.

I would but definitely can't field a team good enough to compete with that

Yes.
My team will be weaker than yours Zec, but I'm happy to have a fixed challenge.

Well if you need the people to fill the games I'm happy to cause I'm not in need of energy and it will be good for my player to get extra csr

Re: Monday night training league
Cool, you're in
Right, we only need 1 more now. Fixture schedule will be as follows:
RD 1
Black Wolf Boys vs Cricklade Cheetahs
Neanderthals vs Mocamboss Dreamers
RD 2
Tanga Titans/Black Wolf Boys vs Neanderthals
Mocamboss Dreamers vs Cricklade Cheetahs
RD 3
Neanderthals vs Cricklade Cheetahs
Mocamboss Dreamers vs Tanga Titans/Black Wolf Boys
RD 4
1st in league vs 2nd
3rd v 4th
There are no limitations on player selection, tactics, trash talk, etc. but the spirit of the tournament is giving all your young 'uns a run around and some training. To demonstrate, here's my provisional squad (If 2 of them don't sell this week)
I'm hoping to stay injury free and not require the reserves, but with my upcoming LTNT fest in the league, that doesn't seem likely. On the plus side they will all be on dead energy...

Re: Monday night training league
I can fill that final spot
Team isn't at the standard it should be at the moment but should be competitive.

Re: Monday night training league
Since Wilz failed to accept, and the point of this is training more than competition, Wilz has been super-subbed for Mazz for this round. You can sort it out between you who carries on, just so long as someone is willing to accept their monday fixtures I don't really mind

Sorry. Should have said at the time I wouldn't have been online until about now since I said it. But would have been accepted. Perfectly understand you subbing me out though

Righto - Next matches are:
Black Wolf Boys vs Neanderthals
Mocamboss Dreamers vs Cricklade Cheetahs
Home teams please make your challenges and may the best little beasties win!
PS. Wing - I was obviously bushed when I made that comment - you can see by the messed up league table (plus I meant the U20s haha)
