Who should be the starting locks?
Lions Watch - Locks
I've given a fair bit of thought to posting this thread as 2 threads not one, and by a fair bit of thought I mean aorund 30 seconds. But if I split the lock vote that naturally goes towards those who'd classically define the roles as the enforcer and lineout lock. And many might pick locks who are a little of both as a pairing, hence I'll run just one lock thread but ask if you would to vote for two candidates.
Reasons welcome as always.
Please note for reasons of poll limitations the following were ommitted for selection: Garvey, Attwood, Kellock, Evans, Parling, A.Nother. Please also note Botha was ommitted on grounds of talent

Even as a Gloucester fan, Hamilton should be nowhere near a Lions squad. His discipline would not be welcome on the tour at all. Gray is an absolute must for me and I would still say Paul O'Connell's experience will see him take the other spot. There may be space for Lawes or Jones to force their way in with a good season so all may change come the tour.

Grim. I just wanted to give some players from each nation an airing, and thus it was Hamilton or Kellock to include in the poll.
I could have included a player like Evans or Parling instead, but frankly I wouldn't expect any of them to take many votes.

That's fine, just giving my opinion on the beast that is Jim Hamilton!

If you bought over the yellow card spread you'd want Big Jim in the side. Aside from that I can't think of a reason

Well he is a lineout beast and he packs a mean right hand! The one that got me was when he got yellow carded for fighting and then carried it on as they were walking off the pitch.
