Those ratings seem rather at odds with the stats. And it's not the first time they've given me pause for thought (or what passes for thought on my part)

Please try to limit rude comments about my lineout, though I should acknowledge the poor lineout it is clear to me now is the manager's fault

This is the England U20 defeat to SA. Much closer, but again just to suggest the stars don't know all.

You have to remember also that 9 stars could be 8.51 and 8.5 stars is 8.49.

Throw in RNG and stars don't mean that much in a lot of instances. A few fantastic players can really boost stars, but then it all comes undone by the lesser ones.
