Hopmans is gone

I've kicked him, and don't intend to change my decision.  I'm not going to tell you all what's been going on for seasons, as much of it has gone on in confidence, and I have no intention of breaking that.  I sincerely apologise to the English nation for not doing this many seasons ago, perhaps instead of now needing to rebuild the offsite, we'd still be as active as we were before he arrived.

Anyway, done now.

I don't think it's the wrong stance! He's got a lot of work ahead of him before I think he ought to be back here. Quite frankly he's made no effort to repair the damage he's done, he doesn't need access here for that, he knows how to use the BR communication options, but he hasn't.

Well he knows how to PM, this I can attest. Many, many PMs are forthcoming.

I think he's made a start. The last election was much better, he's training some potential England u20s, he's offered to help Dazza, and we'll now see if he follows up on that.

I can't help but think the are ulterior motives to all he does.

Dont let him back and get rid of him from the 20s set up. He had more then enough chances in the past. We dont need or want anything he has to offer.

If I was Dazza I'd want his DN player come next season. And if he trains more players I'd imagine future managers would want them. And too I'm not a huge fan of lifetime sentences, but I don't judge a change is needed now or anytime soon with regards to access here.

I couldn't agree any more with your stance Quin. He has done nothing to rectify the problems he caused here and to be perfectly honest I'm not ready to have him back on here. Although, as important as I am, obviously the decision can't be based on when I am ready.

As there's an agreeance for not giving Hops a life sentence, would it be worth specifying a time frame with no incidents? For example two seasons? Bit concerned that since he's been banned from here he was removed from an international role, so the counter would need to start as of this season.

How about 84 years to begin with? Additional time to be added with each clusterfuck.

In all honesty, why are we even discussing it being anything but a lifetime ban? He came, he did more harm then good, he got banned, bombarded the BR guys with messages demanding they intervene and get his ban HERE removed, he was given a second chance and fucked up again. I think somewhere along the line he was allowed back and fucked up once more, resulting in a now permanent ban.

The guy is poison, keep him away from here.
