He's not nailed on as an U20, but with that exp, and with that skills base if he's put on 10x lvl 5s and trained as a centre I think it'd be very hard to look past him. If you're interested can you post up here, I've also asked the selling manager if he wants to withdraw and train, and I'm waiting to here back from him, but it might be better if he wasn't bid up if he'd be withdrawn. There can't be too much longer until he can't be withdrawn so hopefully that's not too much imposition.

Cheers

He isn't being retained and trained, he is being sold.

Standard response so far is people would rather wait for the next batch of 17 year olds and train from the start. Which is perfectly fair when people are seeking the 'fun' way to play and there's nothing wrong with that.

But, the chances are the 17 year olds you acquire through the YA or from the TM will not be as good as this kid, even allowing for the importance of jumping on salary and CSR on Yeoamn, and depending on how you costs these things you'd be spending £750,000 on wages and training on the first season of that 17 year old just to get him to not be quite as good as Yeoman. So rather than spend £750,000 to achieve a lesser result it's worth at least thinking about bidding on a lad who right now is pending a £1k bid, and putting the 10x lvl 5s on him instead. There's also the U20s would only want Yeoman trained for 3 seasons, so you'd be more swiftly able to move onto the next trainee.

Deadline is tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. and right now he's being bought by an Italian noob. And whilst there's no time for him to become an Italian DN he can't possibly be due to receive level 5 training.

Big thanks to Big Dan, no desperate Dan is he, who bought Yeoman for £50k in one of the best bargain buys I've seen,
