Tactical Importance...

New season, new league, new opponents etc...

Some in my league just look that much better on paper and there is no way my lads can just turn up and win as we did in league V.

Question is, how important is tactics when facing other players, what % would you give to its importance and can the right tactics really push things in ones favour?

What might not be clear yet is how much of that higher CSR stems from 1-2 inflated skills, and that doesn't always pan out as giving a side dominance.

That said the right tactics can still give you a big edge, though at times with 2 managers both seeking such it can be a little rock, paper, scissor in nature. Not just tactics (sliders) though, energy and intensity will be key. So planning in advance which games you might target, and when your players will recover is a good idea.

Imbalances in the side (e.g. Weak line out, lightweight pack), spotting squads likely to be prone to indiscipline can all play a part.

Just have to tailor your tactics to fit.
